By accessing, browsing, or utilizing this website, its subdomains, and associated digital services (collectively, the "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable local, national, and international laws, and standard CBSE guidelines. These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between the user and the school administration. If you do not agree with any portion of these terms, or if you do not have the authority to bind yourself or your dependents to these terms, you must cease all access and usage of this Platform immediately. Continued use of the website implies ongoing acceptance of any modifications made to these terms.
2. Academic Portal & Results Access
Access to the academic portals, student directories, and examination results search engines (specifically covering Class IX and Class XI annual reports) is restricted solely to authorized students, parents, legal guardians, and designated educational personnel. Users are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to query individual academic statements using legitimate credentials (such as roll numbers and registration indexes). Any attempt to access, extract, or harvest database records via SQL injection, automated scraping, cross-site scripting (XSS), script scanning, brute-forcing roll number permutations, or other unauthorized penetration methods is strictly prohibited. Such actions constitute a severe breach of academic integrity, violate cybersecurity regulations (including the Information Technology Act), and will result in immediate termination of portal privileges and potential legal prosecution.
3. Mandatory Public Disclosures
Pursuant to the mandatory affiliation directives of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), specifically Appendix IX, this Platform hosts public disclosure documentation. This includes official certificates regarding Fire Safety, Building Stability, Water Sanitation, Trust Deeds, Land Certificates, and CBSE Affiliation Status. These records are published for public audit, transparency, and regulatory compliance. The school guarantees that all uploaded materials are genuine, active, and self-attested by competent administrative officers. However, copying, downloading, modifying, reproducing, or redistributing these official compliance certificates for commercial gain, repackaging, or unauthorized external publications is strictly illegal and subject to intellectual property laws.
4. Intellectual Property & Copyright
The entire contents of this Platform, including but not limited to custom-designed graphics, visual layouts, UI components, typography frameworks, photographic records, school newsletters, annual magazines, student editorial essays, official statements, and custom backend/frontend code integrations, are protected under Indian and international copyright and trademark laws. These digital assets remain the exclusive intellectual property of PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, Rangpo, Sikkim. No user may reproduce, compile, distribute, publish, modify, or license any code, assets, or textual content from this Platform without the prior written consent of the school head or authorized administration.
5. Code of Conduct & Digital Communication
Users interacting with the contact forms, feedback modules, or administrative channels are required to maintain the highest standard of civil communication. Transmitting defamatory, abusive, threatening, obscene, or legally non-compliant messages is strictly prohibited. The administration reserves the right to log IP addresses and filter submissions to prevent harassment or spam, and to block access from users engaging in digital disruption.
6. Limitation of Technical Liability
PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School employs advanced security practices, edge CDNs, and robust database layers to maintain Platform integrity and availability. However, the Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. The school administration, its technical partners, and web development teams shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages, data loss, or academic delays resulting from system maintenance, temporary hosting service outages (including cloud hosting, Supabase database, and Vercel edge infrastructures), network connectivity failures on the user side, or browser compatibility issues. Users are responsible for maintaining secure network connections when transmitting inquiries or pulling student progress cards.
Compliance Verification
By maintaining these terms, PM SHRI Govt. Sr. Sec. School protects student safety in accordance with the Central Board of Secondary Education. Any violation of these codes will result in immediate termination of digital privileges and may be reported to municipal, state, or national regulatory authorities if laws are broken.
